Like 99% of posts on this, and other, fora it is to pass information to those who may have a vehicle that the information refers to - irrespective of what that information might be.
In this instance it is about a recall. There may be those who have a vehicle subject to a recent recall that are travelling away from their home and have either not heard about it or have yet to receive notification from the dealer etc. Most recall notices are for something that requires attention/remediation due to a safety issue.
If you don't have a vehicle that is subject to the RECALL (and it is always CLEARLY detailed in the post subject) then don't even bother to open it.
One would simply activate your comment "who gives a sh!T" - so don't give one and move on.

My son in law sells exotic cars wholesale for many years from 100 k to 7.5 mill [an Italian job one of only 16 ! ] when he gets notified of any recalls the owners get told within 24 hrs after . How many tow a van and how many owners are on a forum ? me I am on the Pajero forum from the day I bought it as I was with the Prado prior.if your an enthusiast you always study form ,no different than a punter !
