Is there anyone in or near Barcaldine Qld that has some 12 volt know how and ability?
Our house system on the motor home died last night batteries are good individual fuses are good. Exhausted my small level of knowledge and ability. I know this is posted in the wrong place but hopefully more will see it. Thanks

same thing happened to me on the way back from the cape. You may have dropped a cell in your battery. If you are near other vanners, see if any of them have a multimeter and start the van. Check the voltage to the starter battery, then check the voltage to the secondary deep cycle battery. The starter battery should be over 13 volts when motor running. Likewise the secondary when charging. After you run the motor a while, leave it for about 10 minutes and check the voltage again. The starter should settle to high 12's, and if the deep cycle is okay, it also should settle to high 12's. If its below 12 volts, your battery is shagged.
Do you have a fuse on the line leading to the deep cycle ? If you find it, check that it has not blown- if so, replace it. (you can check the current going to the second battery if you put your multimeter onto the fuse and earthed against the body somewhere.). Hope this helps.
Hi Poppy, a friend of ours had the same problem as you I think, theirs was a hired motor home but it may be the same setup. under one of the seats was a cut off module if it's the same you should see a red light on and a green of course not on with a reset button close by. press the reset and hopefully all will be ok, where it will be in your case I would look in your manual, fingers crossed that will be your fix
