Old, crowded. Used to be a reasonable cost. Now not so. Stayed there about two months ago.

Hi Bluey, we enjoyed our stay at the L R Resort and Caravan Park, 3 night stopover last year.

Would I do it again, at sometime maybe when the need arises.

We found a couple of real cheapies over at Grawin, Cumborah for a couple of night stop overs down the track.

Crocodile park basic not bad - Lots of green frogs in the amenities, or as Agro said Opal Park is handy to the Bore Baths

I have stayed at the Crocodile twice in the last 2-3 years. The last time, about 18 months ago was my very last time.

The Managers were very rude, intrusive during our use of the Camp Kitchen, dirty amenities and most un-helpful to fill puddles during a storm.

Overpriced as a last word.

Stay behind the Pub across the road. Close to Club and shops.

Avoid the Crocodile like the plague.

Cheers, KB

Stayed there about 3 months ago, would not go back, rude and all they want is money, dirty amenities... Stay over at the Pub, much better... Other Nomads need to be informed also...

Have a look at the comments on Australian Caravan Reports  We found Opal Van Park very good but book to ensure you get a site

The Opal is excellent. All sites drive through. Great amenities. Dog friendly. Pool, camp kitchen, pizza oven. Entertainment sometimes. Brilliant ensuite sites too. Ground is gravel - to be expected in such areas. Lots of shrubbery though.

Another vote for Opal Caravan Park, plus they quite often have entertainment of a night
