Night time, campfire, flannelette sheets, doona rated at 5, hot water bottles, bed socks & each other ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.

Morning, campfire, padded jacket, beany, gloves, Ugg boots & a hot coffee.

We recently experienced morning temperatures lower than our caravan fridge.

Gee, I just love my diesel heater and the electric blanket which warms my bed for 15 minutes before I get in it and runs off inverter when bush camping.
Guru, in your situation, your fridge seems to be the place to be and as interesting as the "second woman" option sounds, probably just too much heat.
