I have a single axle Windsor Genesis and was thinking of having a Powrtouch Caravan Mover installed. Most of my travels are done solo and it will (hopefully) remove the need to reverse a few metres and then get out to see how it is all going. Has anyone purchased one of these units and if so, what is the opinion. They are not cheap but seem to be pretty good.
Firstly, have you had a look at the Camec ones, they are the same thing but cheaper mate. I have been thinking of a twin set up myself.
Also and as well even, there is a Camper Trolley in 'Items for sale' that are really great, I have used one a couple of times. Heavy but great. If you have a spot for one to live it will be safe from the weather etc. Maybe worth a look at as well.
Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

Hi Doug. I have not looked at them. I saw a review of the Powrtouch online and it looked pretty good. I will have a look however, thanks for the tip.
I imagine that there will be a lot of disappointed people out there if I do purchase one as their afternoon entertainment watching me back in to a tight spot will be gone.
Hi
Over here in the uk, motor movers have been voted the most popular accessory. No doubt this is due to our small narrow roads, camp site layouts and the ever increasing use of storage facilities.
The power touch is expensive, but considered very reliable and has excellent after sale service. Downsides are the weight penalty when fitted, exposure to the elements (not uncommon in the uk) and of course the cost.
Although you will deprive many the entertainment of seeing you backing up, this can be offset by the novelty value of seeing a caravan move all by itself
Have fun
