Hi all just sold our small campervan and thinking about getting a small 4wd motorhome .. looked at the ranger sunliner also ... Does anyone own one of these vehicles ?

They're not exactly cheap but have all a large motorhomes can offer in a small compact unit that can get to many off road camp spots .....

Any advice appreciated thanks .

Mate of mine just bought a brand new ranger 4x4 with a Explorer body on the rear. Prior to that he had a slide on. From what I have seen it is very impressive. As you say all the mod cons of a van but in a smaller package. About the size of a 15' van inside. Only thing I dont like is the climb up into the bed. Its not as bad as some with a luton peak over the cab, but still a climb.

Thanks walter yes might be a tight climb into the bed will be checking both vans out at the sandown show in oct .

I just like the versatility of being able to camp anywhere and storage at home will be a bit easier .... ranger and hilux both perform well ..

Be careful with the weight capacity.......many of this style vehicle become overloaded.

You will need to ensure that the vehicle has had a GVM upgrade, otherwise you will have little or no payload.

hi thanks for info.... yes  the Sherwood and sunliner have gvm upgrades to 3450
