Looking at fitting tyre pressure monitors to my van and car. What is your opinion and recommendations.

Thankyou in advance.

Do it.
Had a set of Tyredog with internal sensors for several years, but battery went flat and could not be replaced.
Have run a set of cheap ebay ones with external sensors for 3 years without a problem.

Hi there, For a bit more information click on SEARCH above and type in tyre monitors, or tyre monitoring systems or similar and you can have a look what's been said on previous occasions. Cheers.

I have dig options (on ebay). I have the solar power display with monitoring capacity for 7 wheels, and a signal booster to pick up the van tyre monitors. I only have a single axle van and it suits me. They are a lot cheaper than most others. The main thing you want to protect yourself with is sudden increase in temperature of the tyre, and leaks both slow and fast. People say you need one that gives accurate readings. Mine has about a 2-3 psi variance from what my digital tyre guage says, so I just live with that. I use my TPMS for monitoring my tyres while travelling, not checking they have the correct tyre pressure in them.

in most cases it only has to work once as cheaper than a tyre/rim destroyed
