Cordillo woolshed

Hello everyone,

Cordillo woolshed north of Inniminka, is it close to the road or is it of the track a bit?

Can you just walk in or do you have to contact the owners?

Is it still in good condition or disrepair?

cheers,

Collo

its a little bit of the road up a track of about 50mt

then a walk of about 50mt to the woolshed

there isnt anything to see there really

the stuff on the out side is more interesting

old trucks and stuff

the signs are worth reading

good place to stop for lunch , well thats what we thought

down the road further there was a running creek that would of been nicer

but it was all good

they did it tough back then

enjoy your trip

great spot out that way

Collo ,if you are up that way it is well worth a look, just the sheer size of it.

To think there were 85,000 sheep in the area at one stage.go for it.

Had a look last year, impressive structure. Cordillo Downs track was atrocious, as corrugated as Id ever seen. The Development road on to Birdsville was worse, everyone was driving on the outside of the marker posts trying to get away from the motocross track they call a major road, so be prepared to take it very easy and double-up on the denture adhesive!
