RE: Windsor Seka Pop Top

We have recently taken delivery of a Windsor Seka 552s Pop Top and one of the clips that hold down the roof the screw section has snapped off, in my opinion the solder/weld is totally insufficiently weak.

Have any other pop top owners experienced this as well?

We are waiting on the dealer to rectify.

Cheers

Hi,

We had a 1998 Windsor Dynasty pop top for 10 years, never had a problem like that occur. Perhaps the clip was pulling down too tight?

I didn't tension mine up to hard, just enough to remain in place and keep the roof down.

Cheers AL

Hi Al,

We had only just bought it home to store under our carport and on the suggestion of the dealer unclip the roof to prevent the rubber seal sticking.

Having said that I looked at the other clips and the solder/welds look very "skimpy".

Maybe in years gone by they were made stronger???
