Hi DD, I've looked at these a few times. I make pies at home & freeze them but don't take them camping, as no oven. Can you use it on the stove in the van. Or can they be used on the small butane stoves. Also love fruit or savory scones. I see Tentworld has then on special for $59.95 at the moment. It would be easy to store. Cheers Pete

If by small butane stoves you are referring to the small canister operated units normally of Asian origins the answer is a definite NO. As these units would allow the canister of gas to heat up with an explosion the most probable outcome.

I have a coleman 2 burner stove I use when tent camping.
I have rung & paid for one at my local Tentworld as I'm away at the moment.

DD do you use a stone when cooking pizzas, or do you just sit the tray on the wire rack? I think it's just as important to get the base cooked properly for a good pizza.

As a matter of interest DD, can the Coleman oven be used on a gas burner inside a caravan/motor home?
We would say definitely no. It wouldn't be suitable an a small canister stove either. Other than that it can be used on top of any camping stove with a decent burner.
We use it on a double one of these, single burner would work well.
