Hi all, caravan door vent covers to stop dust getting in, I've seen velcro lift on/off covers around vents, but having trouble googling where to get them, can anyone advise where or maybe your best solution. Thankyou
ours were supplied with our van by manufacturer , but any canvas / awning fabricator could do them just give them the size , we've got them to put on the door and both of our four seasons hatches
Just as easy to use a square of canvas stuck on with some gaffer tape, that's what we use on our fridge vents when we're travelling on long dusty road stretches.
The tape sometimes leaves a bit of residue but it's easy to get off with a wipe of GUNK OFF or similar.

Question for DD, is the fridge not running when you cover the vents?
Should have mentioned that it applies to the bottom vent only to avoid clogging of gas jet. The top vent remains uncovered while on 12V. This method has worked perfectly over the past 6 years.

I read of Someone that inserts a square of foam or similar that they placed between the door vent and the fly screen when travelling then took it out when stopped. This sounded like an easy cheap way to go and a good test of whether it helped with the dust. Havent had a chance to try it yet though.
