I had the grey nomads app on my old phone.

I have just got a new phone Samsung S9 and my app hasn't come across with all the others.

Can anyone explain to me how to set it up on my new phone please?

Have you tried downloading it from scratch again? Can you save your data from the old app? If so then load the old data onto a new installation.

I dont know of an App as such.

All you need to do is open the page with a google search and then "bookmark" or copy the link to home page.
Open the link and sign on with your previous user name and password and if you want to you can ask your new device to remember the name and password.

If you google Grey Nomads Forum it should get you to the page

This is the only Grey Nomad app in the apple store,
Just use Wiki Camps as it does the same thing (probably more) and it is FREE.

Outback Touring Pty Ltd looks like it is tied up with Facebook. I would be steering clear of them. Also the app is $10 dearer than WikiCamps.

I paid for it on my phone and it came at no extra cost on my ipad so it is not free as I said above, only free after you pay for the first subscription.
Yes from memory Wiki camps cost somewhere between 7$ and 8$

That is a good thought...

Just searched the App Store for "The Grey Nomads" and it only bought up the app I posted above.

I think the only way is to Bookmark or save the link to an area of the device that is convenient for the user.

 As I see it there is only one forum called The Grey Nomads which has a facebook page "The Grey Nomads."

There is also a mob called Outback Touring Pty Ltd who have three apps, Grey Nomads, Caravan Australia and Offline Maps & Navigation Apps.  Tied up with them is a facebook page "Grey Nomads." It also appears that the apps are for Apple products only.

I have just posted a photo of the app on my old phone.
It is The Grey Nomads. It is available.
I'm trying to download it from scratch PeterD. I can't find it to do that.
I don't know how to save data from the old phone and put it on to the new phone.
Yes JeffRae would love a link to the app too.
I am now googling each time Dickdownunder and have already got automatic log in but it is b....y annoying not to be able to tap on an app like I do with all my other apps.

Finally worked it out.
When you get the The Forum page, click on the 3 dots in top right hand corner.
Then add to Home Screen.
Done. That's taken a few days but happy to have it done.

The icon pictured is the icon for a shortcut to an Activeboard forum. (This forum operates using Activeboard.) It's not an App but a shortcut.
