The American Shurflo reducing valve is incorporated into the tank filler.

They are relatively easy to replace if you can get to the back of them to remove the tank filler hose. Mine is in a small cupboard beneath the fridge.

They are a non serviceable product and cost around $55.

When mine played up the water pressure in the van increased so you may have a different problem.

I would check the in line water (particle) filter.

Mine is just a black poly cylinder with screwed ends that allow you to remove & clean a simple particle trap. It's the type used in many home garden sprinkler systems.

Mine is like the one that Bill's link illustrates.

Does the inline particle filter usually reside nest to the water pump? Have had heated discussion with the dealer as our van does not have one, we put one in ourselves.

Will try changing PRV first and take it from there.

If all else fails, our van is getting serviced in a couple of weeks.

Once again, thank you all for your input, I will advise the outcome, although it might be a couple of weeks away.

Pull the PRV apart and it will probably have some grit/gunk in it which restricts the water flow.

Cover the hose inlet whilst travelling to keep dust/ road grime out of it.

Just arrived Armidale, hosing down with rain. Will remove and clean tomorrow, let you know how it goes.

Hi Bill,

PRV has been replaced but it is faulty, works both directions so is being replaced next week, will et you know the result.
