It's a journey that brings life to some of the most remote parts of Australia, and following months of dry, punishing heat, the parched gibber plains of Queensland's Channel Country are being recharged by floodwaters.
Amazing we are heading up to Birdsville in July to go down the Birdsville track and up the Oodnadatta track then back home to north Vic
It should look amazing by then with growth everywhere

We are due to start crossing the Simpson W to E in about 4 or 5 weeks.
Eyre Creek is likely to b flooded and maybe we won't be able to get out of Birdsville to the east or to the south, so plans will need to be even more flexible than usual.
