Hello matilda, let me be the first to welcome you. Floorings a tough one. We bought wall runner from bunnings. Cut to the length u want. If we redid the floor i expect i would try vinyl  self adhesive tiles. Join in n enjoy. Regards rocket n strop

I'd stick with what the manufacturers use - fitted vinyl floor covering. It gives a better seal against spillages and as it flexes it's more resistant to lifting as the van travels.

Hi Matilda,
we have used some KARNDEAN product on our walls and would also recommend it for flooring -its intended use-, comes up really nice

We went down the self adhesive path putting in Wood Grain style vinyl planks (750mm long x 125mm wide). Easy to do, cut and trim, finished job looked fantastic. Then a couple of hot days and the planks contracted width wise creating a gap between them. I thought it still looked "OK" til a friend made the comment "why the large gap".  So, might be time to rethink the flooring again.

Soma by new floor covering out there these days . One thing to be aware of . We replaced more of our carpet with vinyl . To our surprise the original vinyl covering went under the carpet . But we found it very slippery till we fitted some mats . The larger area made it more prone . Much much easier to Broom out floor now !
