31 January 2018 Total Lunar Eclipse Perth, Western Australia. Also, the full moon will be slightly larger than normal given that this is also a supermoon, also called a blue moon, so astrophotography will be more spectacular than normal." Hoping my photography does this wonderful event justice....sky dancer Kisha

Gaylehere, it was amazing from Western Australia, no cloud or anything to obstruct the view, however without the tripod my camera work is just terrible, laying back in the hammock wasn't the best position either lol. Nasa Television had it LIVE, I had that up to while watching outside, they had a brilliant telecast, they had it beemed from telescopes all over the US, offering everyone all over the world the opportunity to view this amazing event. All the best to you....Kisha.
JayDee sorry you didn't see it, yes the weather sometimes goes against us seeing these wonderful natural events. If you go to Nasa television, click public, they most always televise whatever is happening. Eg., tomorrow night at 11.34pm WST I will watch the Russian Cosmonauts do their space walk on the International Space station. Take care...Kisha.
diggerop, thats awesome, I to love the rain so I understand you well. Infact I have a 2 litre bottle with rain water I collected on 1st August 2004 during the blue moon, I call it my magical celestial water. Stay happy....Kisha
Hi there, I'm glad you were able to see it on the internet, it was just amazing. In 2 weeks will be a partial eclipse, they always follow a lunar. With a smile Kisha.
Hi Tony and Bev, I will check out rockys pics, and thank you for that. Nasa tv would have a replay of the event to I would imagine for anyone wanting to see it that couldn't while it was happening. Take care both of you...kisha.
