Following the dream

Hi all,

Is its, gods calling.confuseconfuseconfuse

I am following a life long dream of taking to the air. That is to get my PPL. My private pilots licence. I can fly some what. My bro has his, + plane.

I took a intro flight from Bankstown in Sydney. The flight Instructor asked me this. Have you flown a plane  before. yes I have hundreds of hours up.

So why are you doing an intro then.

Simple. They are all on RCwink.

Ok we will start from the begining son. He's 27 years old and calling ME son.hmm

Can I cut some of the hours off for credit then.

Nope.

Bugger me.

 Can I land it then.

Yes sure. after you have 20 hours plus up, and I feel you are ready.

Sounds like my school teacher wife.cry

Im in the clouds.

It would be the theory that would be the pain wouldn't it? But if it's something you want to do, well why not. I just remember, going back many a year, my dad learning to fly. All theory work was pen and paper back then. Cheers.

Go for it Jim, I fly RC to and I've been up in ultralights as a passenger but my fear of heights wouldn't let me take my hands off the frame long enough to take the controls. I think it's a fear of heights or more to the point fear of falling. Flying in commercial flights as a passenger no probs.
