Ford Everest

Good morning all.

Time to hear from our learned forum.

We have an Everest and will be towing a van no heavier than 2.5 tonne laden. Are there any members currently using this tug to tow similar weights.Do you use Wdh or air bags or even a combo of both.

We are contemplating putting in an after market tranny cooler and snorkel

Coming from a 200 series cruiser i am concerned of the long term towing ability and reliability. We have owned the car nearly 2 years with no issues currently and the wifey loves driving it wgich was a telling factor...

Any thoughts?

Hi, i am towing with the Everest also, but have only just purchased a new van which i think will be about 2.5 T loaded. i am off to the great ocean road in Feb, so can give you more feedback after that. A wdh was fitted at purchase which seem to keep the van and car level. tow ball weight was about 180kg with most of the gear replaced into new van.

cheers Steve
