I've just bought 10acres with a house 20ks west of Miriam vale and you're welcome to stay a night or 2 there free. If you wanted a week [or a month or a year], I will welcome company and a little help with maintaining the property. There are fruit trees, lovely views, peace and quiet and plenty of room to put a caravan. There's a composting toilet and a hot shower. I hope to get some alpacas to keep the grass down eventually. I take over there mid Nov.
The place is completely self sufficient and I'm hoping a little old lady [me ] can run it. I'm going to have a go anyway. The road in crosses small creeks but is usually passable in a car unless there has been exceptionally heavy rain.

If I am passing, I will try and stop for a few days, to help out where I can
There's no heavy work or anything like that but I need to learn the solar system, water pumps and fence maintenance. I want to get some alpacas but not until someone will be there to see they have water and so on. I plan to be there myself about 1/2 the time.
Fences, pumps, etc no problems, but I am unlikely to be up there until early next year. Used to sheep and cattle - I figure alpaca's are just like goats but a little bit more friendly - I will give you a PM when we're on the road, to see how you are travellin'.

Wonderful, I'll look forward to hearing from you next year. I'm considering having sheep but need to find out a bit more first. There's quite a big cleared area and some fences. I will have a ride on mower but I'd love to have some friendly animals to keep the grass down.
Best paddock mower is a horse - If you've reasonable fences and lush paddock/s get a horse on agistment - speak to local pony clubs. 10 acres would be enough for one horse in your area - you would need to ensure water supply 1/3 of a 44 gal drum with(cistern) ball c0ck would suffice.
