Caravan cover

I got sick of spending money on covers, tarps etc that were hard work & not a real success.

As I downsized to an older van I was concerned about rubber, sealants etc being exposed to the sun.

After much procrastinating I bit the bullet & bought an Easyshade from Shadycharacters at Jimboomba.

I wish I had made the decision 10 years ago.

Cheers Pete

Hi Pete
Could I be so bold as to ask roughly how much it cost. It looks great and I think it would be ideal for what I want for my van.
Regards
Ashley

Hi Pete.
Great idea and I have a couple of questions...

Do you take it down while you are away?
Do require council approval to erect it?

 Hi Ashley

The shade cost $1890 as a flat pack. Another $100 for 6 bags of readymix & threaded bar for the footings.

The frame is 60mm high tensile galvanized tubing.

I've probably wasted $500 or more over the last 10 years trying to protect vans.

Cheers Pete

 Hi Dickodownunder

I won't take it down. I only go away for a week or two these days. The shade cloth could be removed in maybe 20 minutes.

It is classed as movable. It would depend on which shire, they all seem to have different rules.

Cheers Pete
