Hi - on the way to Beaudesert - Lindsay Highway, North McLean - at the bridge is a great overnighter - free - huge area, toilets. Turn in at Greenbank Road, next to service station and Subway. follow signs.

There is another freebie in Beenleigh - Hugh Muntz Park - I think you can walk to the shopping centre from there.

Boonah Showgrounds or Kalbar Showgrounds are both good stopovers - Boonah at the back f the shops, and Kalbar just near the pub, a great bakery, Weiss House, Weiss Cottage and Weiss Emporium.
