CB Radio

I have a CB radio in my Avan Ovation Motorhome, but I have no idea how it works. I must be stupid, but if someone could direct me to "CB radios for dummies" that would be great, thanks.

Colin

G'day Colin, If you have no idea if the radio works, I would suggest you go to a radio tech and ask them to show you,

Someone who works with radio is the person to listen too. as they will tell you exactly the right info.

We have found the CB very useful in a number of ways.
Channel 40 seems to be the main channel used by truckers on the highway. Listening in you find out about road hold up's, accidents and other information. You have to put up with some nonsense from some of the guy's but remember they might just be board or lonely so need to vent off.
We also use Channel 18 when we are near a camp site.
We use the CB for directions whilst backing the van on and off the drive or a pitch.
