I highly recommend

Manta Automotive Unit 11 & 12, at 4 Deacon Avenue Richmond (a suburb of Adelaide) Phone (08) 8234 8688

For the following three reasons

Firstly they are helpful and friendly people

Secondly they gave good and professional mechanical service to me

Thirdly and most important for us Grey Nomads
If the vehicle is not repairable within the day, (waiting for interstate parts), I was offered by Bruce, the invitation to stay in their parking area for the night, and they would give me 240 volt power, and water for my tank

As I have family north of Adelaide, I did not take them up on their offer

I advise other more modern Ducato owners, with the built in GPS and non-Australian maps, that Manta Automotive, are one of the places to have the Australian maps installed

They also repair and service other makes of vehicles

Thanks for that info Tony - we have recently had a need of repairs, just outside Port Augusta (60k) - had to be put on a truck, and we drove the car to the RV Camp, the mechanic had already ordered the part as soon as he got back to the workshop, arrived Tuesday am - fixed Tuesday pm.
