Hi, camping at Boomi Caravan park, NSW, great spot, BUT I cannot believe that someone ?? could empty their toilet cassette into the salt bush garden hedge growing around the edge of park. Why would anyone even think about doing such a thing. We are camped in a site that thought would suit our needs & as hubby was connecting to water etc that's what we found in front of us.
Just goes to show that there are some out there who just don't care, wonder what they would think if faced with the same filth next time they park up ?? Words can't describe how we felt.......

Have to totally agree with your comments.
They camp among us. I think the terminology MAGGOTS best describes these GRUBS
That is disgusting.
I recently noted that some "grub" had emptied his toilet cassette in the mens urinal overnite.
Not a pleasant experience when confronted with this early in the morning and even more unpleasant for the manager who had to clean it up.
The park concerned has a dump point within easy walking distance of the toilet block
Sometimes the things that some people do is just unbelievable....

Sign on the door of the single toilet at the AVOCA CEMETERY: ''Please don't empty cassettes in this cistern we're tired of cleaning up the mess''. There's actually a dump point in Avoca just a few hundred metres up the road. Grots!

Agree with all of above (Bar1, sorry Mike), A couple of times when we've been in the bush I have dug a hole and emptied the cassette and buried contents, this I only do when not within reasonable distance to a town dump point so very rarely. What is worse in my opinion though is: Doing oil changes on a motor home and pouring waste oil and cans in bush - we even saw a GN in a Coaster tip used oil in the Gregory River when he serviced his bus at the camp at Gregory near the bridge where local water supply in drawn from. Same breed of contemptable scum low life - rego number passed on to Council Ranger, but unaware of any outcome.

Just outside the Riverside caravan park in Iluka is a Telstra phone box...not new but it is totally "as new"....no graffiti, no broken glass or cigarette butts on the floor,,,spotlessly clean. This for us was an amazing sight. Something must be wrong with the town!

I always have a keychain camera on me , if I find such a lowlive doing this sort of thing , I will have the vermin on film
Just be aware that nowadays how the law works people with good intentions like you Recoup often end up being charged. Breach of privacy.

Did they have "Victoria the place to be" or "Victoria the Educated State" on their number plates? A person with this description was going to empty a cassette in the sullage drain at a park in north Qld a couple of weeks ago, until I told him where the dump point was.
