anybody used this road recently - won't be towing the van - or should we go Taroom, Theodore then Cracow. Thanks in advance.

Just came across this post, I did ask the same question earlier this year.
Feb 2019 we arrived in Cracow and asked the locals at the hotel. It is rough dirt all the way by kms its shorter but you are far better to go through Theodore ( great little town & camp) longer kms but shorter overall and all black top, some parts narrow but all good condition. Hope that helps.
