I am having a problem playing music or podcasts from my LG Android phone through a USB in our 3 year old Fiat Ducato Motorhome . Can anyone help ? thanks.

I was having so much trouble with the original Italian radio in my 2006 Fiat Ducato, that I removed it, and fitted an el-cheapo from Repco, radio/CD/USB/Bluetooth etc
The boss has a USB stick which plays all her music, while on the Nullarbor, and other none radio reception areas
Have a look on Ebay there are many devices available for about $20 that plug into the cigarette lighter and play music that you have loaded onto an SD card or usb stick and transmit to the FM band in your radio an 16gig SD card can hold hundreds of hours of music.

we have a 2013 ducato the fiat blue and me system only seems to work for hands free phone the onboard usb will only play music files from a memory stick not the phone
if you want to stream music from your phone like i do with spotify buy a good bluetooth speaker

I ordered one of these (FM transmitter & mp3 player) on ebay only yesterday as our car stereo has no AUX socket or bluetooth capability and the CD player is kaput - otherwise the AM/FM radio and speaker quality is very good. Hopefully this $20 outlay will provide the solution until I trade the car, hopefully in the not too distant future!
