Yea.
Yrs ago.
I lived in SA.
"Seasonal" reogo's 6 months about.

I lived on yacht down there in summer.
BEST Strong wind, weather sailing round Aust.
NOT counting West Coast.
Winter.
Campervan for a few yrs. Up North with Tinnie on back. Fishing.

VANS. Are fine.
In perfect weather. but NO better than a tent in inclement, specially when full time.

5ish Yrs and I gave it away.
to an old bloke in a 19,o, blonk. single cab ute and tarp.(around '75\76 vintage.)
Sold the tinnie.

It felt good,
I spent couple nights at a fishing camp with him, fishing and socialising.
VERY intelligent. Unfortunate life.

Bumped into him coupla yrs later. Still in Toyota.
much happier with a good bed and roof.
Different person.
AND. Still a thousand times betterer fisherman than I'll ever be.
Made me feel even gooder.
