I imagine that everyone has water pressure problems are various places, and have overcome it by using the pump, but then you are using up valuable water needed when you free camp.
Has anyone installed a 12V 80Psi High Pressure Water Pump ? I am wondering if this is a solution, or is there another solution.

My van has 60L tank with it's own pump for shower etc. when free camping. I have a filter that I use when filling up the 60L tank from dubious sources. However the filter requires mains pressure. I purchased a "NEW 12V Water Pump 4.3Lpm Self-Priming Caravan Camping Boat" off eBay. Just get a bucket of water from wherever (generally free camp at lakes or rivers) and suck it up thru the filter from the bucket to the van. I do get slab of bolted water (ALDI, Coles) for drinking. This seems to be a standard way of getting water. Some people just throw the pump hose in the water but you need to be careful that the tube doesn't suck rubbish up off the bottom.
I have an 12v external socket on my van that I use to power the pump.
Don't do it mate, if you put that internally in the van its to powerful, the normal vans pump and control valve settings are around 50 psi. If you van has some poor workmanship and loose connections you will be the first one to know.
An assistance could be had if you installed a portable pump on the hose from your water supply prior to entry into the van. Then it becomes a booster pump.
But 50 psi is totally adequate.
Me I never use town water direct, preferring to fill my tanks and use the vans pump.Town water pressure can double over night in industrial towns and cause problems.
I mean what's the problem filling up the night before departure?
