Western Gums Tourist Park Kyabram Victoria

Western Gums Tourist Park 1220 McEwen Road, Kyabram Victoria was establish 12 months ago to benefit the residents of Kyabram and is supported by the Board of the Kyabram Club.

Kyabram Club's motto is "where friend meet" my husband James and I were among the parks first guests and returned again this May and it was just as the motto of Kyabram a place where friends meet.

The park managers and hosts Mike and Cheryl Sweeney are both welcoming and friendly and will assist the traveller with enquiries and are both great fun.

The park itself is a refurbished park and has new amenities, ensuites with a carport, all sites are grassed,BBQ,  pool, playground, dump point and almost completed camp kitchen and outdoor firepit and is pet friendly, sites are reasonably priced.  All facilities are kept spotlessly clean. A gate at the rear of the park leads you to a walk along the extensive irrigation channels, a lovely, peaceful early morning or evening stroll.

During our stay the park received delivery of 4 new family cabins.

The township of Kyabram we found to be friendly and welcoming as the folk have an interest and willingness to attract the travelling public. Interesting attractions close to Kyabram are the camel milking farms, paddocks of free range pigs, The Melbourne Rock Candy manufacturer.Kyabram is a short distance to Eucha, Tongala, Rochester.

James and I had a wonderful time and intend to return in the Spring for a longer stay.
