Camp sites in QLD

I am looking at staying at Lenthall Dam and Log Dump camp sites near Hervey Bay this year.  Van is 28 ft and not an off road.  Can I get van in to sites?  I don't mind if road is corrugated.  Have driven around Flinders Ranges with van.

Welcome to the gang Noel, enjoy here and out in the playground.

Not sure about both sites you ask about sorry but I'm sure someone will and be along soon. Great area to explore though, Hervey Bay.

Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

Road into Lenthal Dam is ok but you will need to arrange a camp permit online deforestation you go out there because phone reception is ify at best.

Hey GOG here's a web address for Log Dump it's a little confusing as it says buses motorhomes & small vans.

There are two sites at Lenthall, one is National Park (Wongi Waterholes), the other I think is SEQ. We stayed at "Lake Lenthall Campin Grounds" the one managed by SEQ. Both are on Wikicamps, read the comments regarding instructions on how to book and how much. ($6.70 pp, pn currently)

The road in from the highway was OK, but when you turn off to the lake, it is a stony road, did some minor damage to our tyres. The sites are beautiful grassy spots beside the lake, toilets available. WE just rocked up and got a site easily.
