Cheap camping,site`s

Hi There is a lot off discussion about cost and spots to camp free or otherwise,we recently stayed at Ardlethian nsw they have a great little spot in town next to club shops at park, cleanest toilets we have ever seen and pay for power $2 for 12 hours,4 powered sites ,talking to locals they are looking at showers down the

way, what a great over nighter and friendly place to stay, spent some money at the local store ,will stay there again when going thru that way,its between Temora and Griffith.Maybe this is what a few more small towns need to do .mike

Another advantage of Ardlethan is their fuel prices are always lower than anywhere else in the Riverina - even the discount ones in Wagga. Friends of ours that live there say it is because they made it so locals would shop locally rather than seeking big supermarkets elsewhere. Great little town fond memories.

This needs to go in the section called cheap and budget campsites as suggested by our contributers. As you say A great camping spot that deserves our visits.

Why bother Marj. I did similar last week and ended up getting the bullet proof vest out.

I have Ardelthan on my radar. Recently stopped behind the nearby Grong Grong pub. That was good value too.
