Nanango music festival

i have just come across an ad for the Nanango country music muster, this may work in with our plans on the way home. Has anybody been and if so is it a good weekend. Always wanted to go to the Gympie Muster but that sounds like it is getting too big and has never worked in with our travels

Is there a list available of events & festivals Australia wide so that we can avoid them & the resulting crowds on our travels?

At the moment we have to look up each individual area & make sure that nothing's happening.

Thank you Jbrinks for bringing Nanango Country Music Festival to our attention.

7.8.9 th September 2017

Sounds like the place to be for some country music and not far from home.

We have been going to the Nanango Country Music Festival every year for the last 5 or 6 years, love it, well run, great entertainers. Usually over 700 vans on site.

Going again this year, we arrive on the Wed before and leave Mon after.

Thank you for all the responses we have decided to give it a go and booked a powered site for the festival, understand it's not far from the Bunya Mountains which are supposed to be beautiful so will get some time also to spend there .
