Euabalong (nth of Lake Cargellico)

Nth of Lake Cargellico

$11/night - power , water, showers - Honesty box - (please ensure you pay). Camps book says pay at the hotel but publican says "no - use honesty box".
looks like its the old school site with lots of concrete
- just a pub - no fuel or shop

Thanks Jenny & Barry,

looks like a top spot. Roughly how far to the pub from there and do they serve meals?

Saw that as we drove in and it looked okay. We stayed down on the lake at Frogs Hollow I think they called it and yes there was a chorus of frogs after dark. The most annoying aspect of our stay there was the little black insects that came into our van after dark, millions of them. You could not sit in the van for them so we turned out the lights and went to bed early. Next morning there were thousands dead along the window sills on the outside of the fly screen. Not sure how you deal with them or whether they were just there the night we were in town.

Anyone camped out in the vicinity of Round Hill Reserve might see plenty of police activity in the region today.

The alleged shooter is supposedly in that region.
Stay safe anyone camping around there.
Although I doubt too many be camping, be hot as out there today.

A very hot day for search, find and arrest activities.

I only just noted on this old thread, Lake Cargellico, not Lake Cargelligo.

I spent some time out at the lake as a youth and played cricket against many of the good players from there.
The locals HATE IT when the "g" is substituted with a "c".
Get run out of town for CargelliCo.

I go off watching TV at present as so many TV reporters say "Lake CargelliCo" !!!!

It gets me just as much as those so-called educated TV presenters also say "Next Jear" for next year.
I have a deep Aussie accent that got much attention in the U.S. years ago, they love the Aussie drawl, but my grammar is still sound !!!!
