Air Conditioning

Hello. I have a small European Caravan and I wish to fit an Air Conditioner, however, there is not much room on the roof. I have heard there is a unit that replaces the Truma Heater called Coolmac. Does anyone know where this brand can be obtained in Australia?

Thanks

Welcome to the gang jjcahill1, enjoy here and out in the playground.

If it were me I would look up the Truma website and take it from there. You could also, gee I risk getting told off for this one but, maybe Google Truma Coolmac, ya never know.

Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

Just thought, have you thought of maybe a Split System? The outside unit MIGHT fit on the Aframe. Just a thought on my part.

Hi.

If you do have room for a Household Split System.

They are truly. 500 times better than ANY Caravan units.
and half the price.

just get a named one. NOT a chinese label.

Ours is only a small van but fitted the Condenser on the A frame and replaced a shelf with the Head unit, much cheaper and heaps better.
Cheers

We reckon that if and when we buy a new van that there is no way we will have a roof mounted A/Con.I will insist on the split house hold system.

Would not give you 2 bob for the Dometic we have. Very rarely use it.

Still waiting for the Diesel summer Cooler like the heater.
