Isuzu nps300

Is anybody currently touring S.A. in a nps 300 that has super single wheels and all terrain warrior suspension. We would like to see this system as we are getting a hard ride and have been advised to go to these people. We would like to see it first. Please email on billynjean9@yahoo.com.au

Hi.

Multi leaf springs on a truck of any type. that has to carry a load.
Will NEVER be soft and supple.
EVERRRrrrrr.

The nearest I've ever seen in that regard.
were the single "tapered" leaf system Mercedes had
with dual shocks to control it.
One length of leaf, tapered to the pins at each end.

Would be great if it can be balanced.

Otherwise. think about playing with full conversion.
Leaf to coil, with linkages to suit.
They do on 4wd's at 3 1\2 ton.
6 ton shouldn't be too much harder hey?.

Ask around Pedders and TJM etc.

How about AIr bags. Dump trucks and road haulers use them.

Quite popular with Troopie's etc if you read.

Personally. Myself.

I fitted an Orthopaedic. SPRUNG seat in my Patrol.
it could jump around all over the show.
You just sat in seat and watched truck bounce around you.

They come in Hudraulic and springs SUSp.
i chose the spring type.
More reactive than mates Hydraulic ones.

Let the truck bounce all over the road.
$3ish grand will see you sweet.for 2 x,
(depending on actual seat type.)
You just hang onto wheel and let it go.

All Terrain Warrior in Yandina Queensland are the answer. They can supply and fit a parabolic spring set plus single wheels.

Don't waste your time with anyone else.
The tyres they supply are 285/70R19.5 on 8.25"wide rims, but I would strongly recommend one size larger at 305/70R19.5, on the same rims, for a better ride.

This is the size that I run on the OKA. We are in Adelaide, but our vehicle is not like the NPS.

Cheers,
Peter

EDIT we have friends in a Canter who will be in Victoria in about 10 days and passing through Marree on the way to the Simpson in about 3 or 4 weeks time with the ATW suspension and singles. :)
