We have a Thetford C263, which has a bowl that can be turned 90 degrees would that suit? Looking at their C402-C model, could you mount that against rear wall of you ensuite to obtain a side entry to access cassette? www.thetford-europe.com/au/product-category/toilets-au/cassette-toilets-toilets-au/

Hello Ken

I give the same information as Possum3, with a bit more added

I have never heard of a front access cassette, so I can not help you there

Looking at my own cassette it says Thetford, but I can not see a number on it
It has a swivel base, and the height of the cassette under the floor looks about (I did not measure it) 200 mm high

I suppose if you really, really, wanted a front access cassette.
You could make a box to suit the cassette
Have a hinged step in front
Walk up to the throne
And at the appropriate time, swing the hinged step away, to withdraw the cassette

An alternative is to use a porti potty
They come in two halves, so you can remove the top, and carry the bottom half away

Hope that this info is useful to you

As a sidenote
I do not know what type of RV you have, but I do not think that my own Mrs Tony, would allow me to carry a cassette through the living area

Ken, Is it permitted to ask why you want/need a front access cassette toilet it would seem to be very unusual?

Bit off topic...(sorry), but am searching for small trolley/sackcart to wheel our cassette to dump point.

Doesn't bother me to drag it thru a busy park...will just put a collar on it and change it's name to "Lassie"  lol

Heaps on ebay around $30-40, small gen purpose trolleys that fold flat. OR, buy a $15 shopping jeep from $2 shop or similar junk outlet, discard the bag and strap the cassette on the frame with occy strap. I've seen one in action, although it won't last a lifetime of rough ground travel.

A few more trolleys to consider : www.ebay.com.au/itm/Collapsible-Trolley-New-Caravan-Portable-Toilet-Accessories-Camping-Water-RV-/351838305896 & www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/pack-and-roll-trolley-cart-35kg-lecprtc01

Update on my last post: In Bunnings yesterday I noticed a batch of these general purpose small trolleys, the carry ledge and wheels fully fold flat - $29.95 (i.e. if you don't want to rummage around the $2 shop or pay ebay postage).

Maybe you could try the marine suppliers. They may have a vacuum system that would allow you to mount the cassette on an outside wall and have the bowl in the middle of the vehicle.
