Not normally we have so much rain both sides of the ditch .. Sheesh ! Over on East, North Island at present . 150mm rain on one hour .. IMG_0080.JPG

And guess what Townsville received from TC Debbie? 4.8mm and nothing in the dam (4 failed wet seasons in a row)! As a friend said. we Townvillians will be allocated one shower a week soon. Mind you it was good to miss the cyclonic winds!

Should have come down here. 4 plus days solid 24hrs pd.
one day almost sun. 4 days near solid wet again.

Problem being we don't need it.
Pity we can't direct the storm clouds inland hey.

Over in NZ and you wouldn't know .. It's RAINING . No wind to blow it away .. Plenty of green grass for the dairy farmers . Top season . Need it too .

Now snow here . Orini nr Hamilton may get a few frosts over winter . Down south or high country there's heaps of snow . Mountain areas and dairy don't mix . We are 70 klrs south of Auckland and 30 odd klrs from coast . Although it's raining it's 20* . No blankets sleeping overnight . Yet !! Warmer at night than Penrith when we left 15 days ago .
