we bought our first van last year as a tent upgrade. It's a little beauty, but it has served its purpose and it is time to upgrade. SWMBO has a desire for an ensuite and of course a/c. We have seen a 2014 Nova Metrolink 16.6 for sale in Bunbury WA for 40k. So questions:
that seems a pretty good price and in the right bracket for us. Do you seasoned travellers consider that a good price?
2nd and final question, are there any recommendations for a 16.6-17ft cabin size full van with ac and ensuite, or if thismNova is quality for the money
16.6 is the inside measurement on the metrolink outside is 18foot 4inches there quite clever in design the double bed inside goes over the tunnel boot so you gain more space, sure there not a big bogey wheel job,but there very comfortable ,if you have not a big cruiser and you don't have a lot of space at home there perfect I know.
thanks for your thoughts. Our current van is a Coromal 401. Really went that small because we had a Nissan Dualis with CVT couldn't afford to change the tug as well, so got the little van. It served two purposes really (The van) to see if we would enjoy it. Been tenting for years, and also how I would go with the driving.
Passed both with flying colours, can even reverse without stress or damage
the Dualis lasted two pulls before we traded on a demo 2015 (last model) Mitzi Challenger. We found we were desperately counting kilos even with a little light van and now have more than enough.
We saw the metro link at the Perth caravan and camping show, then did a lot of reading. The internet can be very helpful. But like most things everyone is Eddie the expert and has an opinion. Biggest think for us was the quality of the finish, the clever way they have packed everything into a 16.6 ft van and the weight.
this one we have seen is also a 2014 model, so really just past new.
anyhow will post a photo if we get it. Thanks again for your thoughts

We are currently looking at the Metrolink....options are good used one, ore a new build.
We see the size and weight as a good fit for what we want, and it seems the dealer and the factory are willing to work with us.
