Werribee South Caravan Park.

You will need to drive in to Werribee to catch the train to the City. About 8klm from memory and there is parking at the station. Werribee South is on Port Botany @ $30- per night stay a week and you pay for 6.

Do not think you will find any cheaper in Melbourne although I am no a local. We also paid $46- at the Big 4 prior to catching the ferry.

Very nice park right on the water.

Cheers

Rocket - there is the Highlands Caravan Park in Seymour, great rates, and the previous owners would drive you to the station - about an hour into the city from there. Great little town, Seymour - Aldi, Coles, Woolies and lots of other stores and bakeries etc., Services Club or good meals at the pub opposite the Highlands.
