Gas regulators

Is it safe to use a gas regulator in a vertical position. Is it a rule that they have to be horizontal or can they be eitherway. Want to fit a gas heater that has a big end to a companion cyliner.

Thanks.

Either way, our caravan had the regulator vertical between the bottles.

Thanks for that. I think we had a caravan with the regulator like that but always thought it was wrong and not safe.

Not sure of the regulations

The LPG bottle regulator on my old caravan is mounted horizontal

The LPG bottle regulator on my old campervan is mounted vertical between the two bottles

Perhaps one of the members with LPG experience can enlighten us all

Apparently it is mounted vertical with the hose pointing down. Link goes to CaravansPlus who have instructions:

Good Luck.

I think it's more important to have the BOTTLE standing vertical
so Gaseous GAS not liquid gas flows out the valve.

That Gas. Being neither solid or liquid.
Will flow any way you like, without blockage.
