Wondered what type of jockey wheels that people are using with caravan moover like the purple line . Have a 4 degree upward slope to garage. About 3 meters of compacted gravel to concrete. Moovers work well. Jockey wheel cannot handle the weight despite being a steel center 8 inch ark wheel.
Ball weight is 160 kilos on a flat surface. Van is AVan fra
nces pop top .Atm 1785 kilo.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and would like to hear from anybody that has been able to make something work

I have an Avan Aliner - we have a slight driveway slope and since my wife broke her arm (permanent reduced strength) is unable to help me push the van into the back of the carport - so we fitted Purpleline movers. The first time we used it to turn the van on the front lawn the original Avan 6" jockey dug into the grass. I have fitted an ARK heavy duty off-road jockey - twin 8" ball-bearing wheels, 90 degree wheel yoke so it instantly turns in the direction you want to go - removable side-winder handle - takes 750kg download weight - great height adjustment and swivels to horizontal position for towing - a really great jockey wheel - you should be able to get one around the $230 mark.

I have now torn the tire off my jockey wheel on my Jayco Stirling 21.65-3. My tow ball weight is 230kg and I have 4 Purpleline movers. I have read somewhere that larger vans need a dual 10 inch system, can anyone advise.
