Seeking dog friendly van park near beach in northern NSW

We are looking for somewhere to take our pooch to the beach in northern NSW for a week or so.  He's never seen the beach/ocean and actually it has been some time since we've been to the seaside.  Long strolls on the beach beckon.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations for suitable van parks.

North Beach Holiday Park Mylestom 2454.
Just behind the Dunes and lots of beach for you all.
To spot with Great Chinese Restaurant at the Bowling Club, also Pizza outlet as well.
Great corner shop for Fuel, nice Coffee overlooking the Tidal Pool and the Bellinger River.
Enjoy

Not sure about any parks in North NSW, but on the Mid North Coast there's the North Coast Caravan Park at Nambucca Heads. It's a Dog friendly park and the beach below it is dog friendly. We stayed there 3 years ago for a week whilst we waited to move into a house we bought in the area.

A little bit south... there's a caravan park right on the beach at South West Rocks, not sure if the beach is dog friendly but the caravan park is.

Dog parks is an interesting topic. I have been living in the Plantation Big 4 park since Feb 1999. Probably about 3 years ago they started accepting dogs, and I reckon maybe 30% of there customers have dogs. They are all well behaved and disciplined dogs, and I haven't seen one that got out of line.

Scotts Head North Coast Caravan Park is dog friendly, park has beach access and a dog off leash area on beach.

It has a good dog washing facility and seperate washing machine

Bowling Club next door has takeaway facilities and as well as the small village has a grocer, butcher, chemist and coffee shop

Park is pristine and facilities excellent, sites in the new section are very large however the beach front (behind dunes) sites are a little tight.

A very nice place to stay, 15 mins to Macksville or 5 more to Nambucca Heads. Coffs Harbour about 60k away

Cheers

Have a look at Brooms Head just south of Yamba. We haven't stayed there yet but have heard good reports from a neighbour. Park right on the beach.

If you are intending to go to the coast via the Bruxner then here is a map of available parks. Zoom in to get better detail, it's the green pins you need to look at. Click on the pins for more details. If there is no Badgers reports for a particular park then it possibly not worth considering.
