Welcome to GN's Rubydoo.

However you get to Norseman is up to you , you know that end . Across the 'paddock' to Port Augusta.

You can now go to Two Wells & turn left to Gawler , Lyndoch , Mt Pleasant , Mannum , M Bridge , T Bend.

At Tailem Bend I would go the Coorong to Mt Gambier , then head east.

Have a Safe trip.

Hi Rubydoo
We have done the GOR twice 1st time without the van left it in Geelong in a park on power and safe and high tailed it to Port Campbell stayed at motel and retraced our steps to Geelong sightseeing as we went that was pretty easy and a break from the van .Last year we towed the van on the GOR it,s not all that daunting we drove to a park holed up for two days and retraced out route sightseeing and also went forward looking and into the hinterland then moved with the vans to next stop and did the same .Trying to sightsee with the van is a pain .

The GOR is fantastic coastal scenery and worth seeing.

I book into a C/Park at Anglesea and do it as a day trip.

It is quiet do able pulling a caravan but there are some hair pin bends, undulating hills and not many overtaking lanes "plus a lot of impatient car/bus drivers". Cheers, John

After many, many trips Perth to all points and return I now prefer to turn left just south of Pt Augusta, over Horrocks Pass (not difficult in a large caravan) to Wilmington then south via Clare Valley & Barossa Valley.

Depending if I am going to Adelaide to see family or to Victoria, (more family,) which way I go from there.
