Perth has recorded its second wettest day ever recorded, receiving 114 millimetres in a 24-hour period.

A car drives through flooded Currie St in Warnbro, South of Perth.

Yeh I watched the Low move down the coast on the BOM radar page and thought we were going to really cop it at Carnarvon. But instead it was a gradual trickle of 27 mils over 12 or 14 hrs no damage and should make all the grass jump out of the ground over the next 4 to 8 days. All is good.
