Could anyone advise if the Clairview Rest Area in Queensland ( btwn Mackay and Rocky) is still permitted overnight camping?? Thanks for all and any help B+E

Your answer is no , Waverley Creek rest area is the closest free camp near Clairview , Also St Lawrence Recreational Reserve has a small fee.

St Lawrence is very good. Nice and quiet for a couple of days stay.
