Looks pretty good Jules, but having owned a similar bus, only an earlier model,

I would suggest a very close inspection for rust in chassis and lower wall panels.

For some reason these vehicles are very prone to rusting, must be the "High" quality steel "Coke Cans" used in their construction LOL

 Hi smile

Just a word about the quality of Coasters ! This one is 30 years old, that is the main problem. My Mercedes Sprinter is half that age and has rust too and has never been near the beach much over its life.confuse

Below is a picture of our old 77 Coaster,  it might be hard to see but, the whole of the roof section just above the windows, has a riveted plate of steel running right around the body, the front section below the window is also full of bog.

From a distance the old girl looked pretty neat but, up close "YUK"

I'm glad I managed to flog it off before she fell apart, although it did carry us across the Nullarbor to S.A. and back without any major problems.

Look at Yeoeleven from this forum - he purchased a 1980 4 cyl petrol Coaster - sight unseen. There was a kerfuffle about how he should do this, not do that - but he got it - 2013 - March - took two months to get it on the road - and quite a few $$$$ - but he is still driving it today - he has made a great home out of it - doesn't travel as far these days - but loves to be out in this great land, meeting great people.

Let's hope the one pictured finds as good a home.
