Interest in Australia from O\Seas.

My brother in Canada has 4 Grandkids.

(Yea. SO.. I can read minds.)

One of the 10 yr old girl twins sent me a letter recently

Merry X-Mas etc.

Combined with a school Project.

"Family in other country's".

Basically.

where do we live. How do we live. What do we do.

Places and descriptions of. with temp's. climate etc.

And PHOTO'S (with details)   of this country.

You lot have two or three or more?.

How about some of you sending a couple or three each,

of interesting shots of this country.

ON this post will do. I can extract.

I bought a 32gig chip for camera\Laptop to fill with details. Movie etc over next month or so.

Then post to her for end of project on Mar 1st in class.

Come on you lot.

We have somebody interested in our great country.

Let's share a little of it hey.

Even if only for me.

Hi Macka17,

I've been posting photos on Pick this Place since last April and am happy for you to use any of those (but maybe not the ones with hubby or I in them) if you want and if you read down a bit someone will tell you where they were taken.

Thank you Gayle.
It is the places and where I'm really after.
She wants to know myself and family mainly.

Last time we saw her,she was cradles in Di's arms at around 10 months old.

Features. Coastlines. whatever suitable.
Just Australia and bits of it.

Kids will love it all. They fascinated by everything.
Specially at that age.

Thank's again.

Thank you Jeff.
ALL and any are gladly recieved.
I'll upload them all then Di can select which to send.

I'm using a 16gig MicroSd so plenty of room.
Maybe even just a 4 or 8? We'll see.

But this way the teachers can project large view on wall or screen for whole class to see.
Rather than just a handful of 6x4 photo's.

I'll go for a drive along the coast and to Croc farm,
Maybe catch some hatchlings.
We have a Koala Sanctuary near here too.
Anybody got any shots of the "salt flats" in Simpson.
They 85% water on that Continent.
and maybe shots of along the FNQ coastline above Townsville.
Daintree etc.

These are 10 yr old Canadian kids. Interested in our country,
The people and what we do. Show them hey.
Mate in NZ North isl is doing same for me too.
Anybody got any of Sth Island too?.

Here are a few Macka.

I may not agree with you all the time, but this will be good for the kids to see.

Ian.

The idea of forums. is not agreements.

More differing opinions, and the why's\wherefores.

It's really, Totally irrelevant if a person agrees with you or not,
but nice if they can do occasionally, hey.

Mine are ALWAYS in fun. and (sometimes) tuned to get a bite. (for fun of course)

Some are soooo Bland. on here.
I reckon their faces would crack if they smiled.

The kids will love the old paddle steamer.

They have to go down to the Mississippi to see any of them.
