Unfortunately due to the countries retailers gradually disappearing beneath the waves of economic illness Australia is afflicted with, many are closing down with people thrown onto the unemployment heap.
For those of us still lucky enough to have a job or have sufficient retirement income (maybe not in 2017 though), this retail malaise is good for us.
We recently built a new house in WA and have just bought a reverse cycle Futijsu 9 outlet air con. Shopped around and exactly the same unit had a price difference of almost a $1000 between suppliers. The one we ran with is about $800 cheaper than the dearest outfit and we get 3 years no interest, no fees repayment with the option of paying it earlier with no penalty.
Did the same with a 5KW solar system - a quality system with a 10 year warranty from a major supplier and manufacturer on the same interest free deal.
Good for us - not good for the manufacturer and retailer

The amazing things you see when nomading Australia
I guess our vans are really "little" houses that need furnishing and fittings more or less identical to those of a "fixed" house so maybe there will be quite a few bargains to be had.
We need new pillows, sheets and always on the lookup for something handy.
Thanks.
