Where Will the Road Take Us In 2017?

Hello & merry Christmas to all the wonderful grey nomads out there. Thank you all for you advice, great tips & kind words you have shared with me since I joined the forum earlier this year. I wish you all a very happy Christmas. Enjoy your families, have a healthy, safe 2017. Now that I have said that, I would love to hear where the road is going to take you in 2017! What are your plans?

We always spend Summer at home adjacent to Port Phillip Bay. Family traditional Christmas is always at our house, a big day & everyone sleeps over including in our caravan.

We'll be spending all off March along The Coorong to the Murray mouth.

Last half of April & all of May will be a NSW South Coast trip.

Winter will be ''broken up '' by doing our usual Mallee - Murray - Sunraysia - Riverland trip for 6 weeks. Mostly fine & sunny while the masses are away in QLD.

That's our first half plans.

To all forum members have a lovely Christmas, a healthy New Year & enjoy your travels wherever you may go next year.

Merry Xmas to all.

Pick up new 'van tomorrow.

Spend Xmas in Armidale.

South to Darling River area and maybe Great Ocean Road.

North to Savannah Way, Darwin, Broome, Perth, then Tasmania December next year.

As in the past, this plan is subject to change any second.

Have a great Xmas everybody.

We are into our sixth year full time travelling now. 2017 will be spent following roads less travelled.

We will be staying well away from cities and large towns and CPs.

Merry Christmas & a Great 2017 to all. May your travels, wherever they take you, be safe & very enjoyable. We are off on a cruise (11 days) to New Guinea on 22/1. After that maybe it may be time for us to stop in one place (after 23 years on the road). Hopefully I will be going to Thailand to catch up with a brother early in the year also. Cheers to all Alice

Wonderful to read everyone good wishes & plans for 2017. For me Christmas will be spent quietly in our home in rural Vic. Our family get together's will be soon after Christmas this year. For me my plans will begin with a stop in at Greens Lake on my way up to the might Murray for a bit of fishing & catching up with friends. I will be taking a trip to the Grampians in early Autumn for a bit of bush walking. I am also a keen photographer so my Nikon will be in full swing as usual. July I will be heading up to Isa for the Rodeo & to catch up with family. Then hopefully on to Darwin then home via the East Coast. No other plans at this time! I must admit I can be very impulsive so one never knows where my Effie will take me. Stay safe over the Christmas period & enjoy your families.
