Stealing showers as in - taking the shower heads off? Or actually going into somewhere without paying and stealing a shower - washing hair etc??

I have heard of people stealing shower heads, shower curtains, handwash, toilet paper, paper towels -how low can you be.

Good story & a good solution.

Funny thing ... It was only the other day that I was lounging in my squatter's chair contemplating my navel or whatever, when my mind turned to the problem of managing access to CP facilities and I came up with a notional scheme similar to this.  Just before I dozed off for a nap.

Oh well I'll not make my fortune on this one ... Someone's thought of it too & got out of their recliner first ... Perhaps I should focus on something more mundane, like world poverty.

I can only shake my head in disbelief, on why someone would want to steal a second hand shower head

My home base has had one set of new shower heads, in over 20 years of living here

I was in Bunnings the other day, and I am sure that I saw shower heads at around the $20 mark

To use up fuel, to steal a second hand shower head, proves to me that the thieves are perhaps, a few bats short in their belfry

Just spent some time down at Nobby Beach Caravan Park in a flash cabin...both TV remotes had flat batteries as did the smoke alarm. Owner said rich or poor they all steal whether it's a poverty van or a gin palace.

Good Luck.

EEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKK!!!!!!! Who would steal a toilet brush!?!?!??!!!?!?

Certainly not this little black duck!

Nor would I bother with the toilet paper - usually "breakthrough" quality and often shiny and not at all absorbent!

Have you noticed that in caravan parks, the hooks on the shower doors (and also the toilets) are often missing? I mentioned this to a caravan park owner once and he said that he was always putting up new hooks. Why would you steal a clothes hook?

They have always done that - which is why some shower blocks in CPs have keys or coded entry these days. Guthalungra(?) in QLD, the garage used to have a $3 get the key to the shower, backpackers one night paid for one key, then handed it on to at least 20 others - hence a pigsty and no hot water when a traveller paid for a key - totally unusable.

Next morning the manager from garage came over, pulled the dozens of power leads out from the inside of the toilet block - threw them out, locked the doors, went to all the backpackers and asked for $3 - told them to get out and never come back.
